In addition, students are offered one-on-one career counseling.
Professional Memberships
Each student enrolled in a degree program receives a complimentary membership to Net Impact, a professional network of thousands of socially committed professionals.
Job Boards
Updated job announcements are continually posted for positions across all sectors and from around the world. Presidio works collaboratively with organizations, such as MBA-Nonprofit Connection, to identify a number of job and career opportunities for our community.
Networking Opportunities
Central to our mission of creating a learning community is providing opportunities for networking between students, faculty, staff, board members, and our organizational partners.
Presidio facilitates networking through the following:
Project and Service Learning Showcase: Project and Service Learning Showcases are held each semester so that students can learn more about the scope of potential projects and engage in a valuable professional networking opportunity with executives from sustainability-focused organizations.
Presidio Firm Night: This is a career fair and recruiting event that is co-hosted by Net Impact. Only businesses, nonprofits and governmental agencies that are actively looking to hire Presidio graduates are invited to attend. This important networking event provides Presidio students and alumni first-hand access to hiring businesses and organizations, as well as to other members of Net Impact.
Networking Opportunity Information: This includes ongoing e-mail announcements, as well as a comprehensive calendar that includes details of events and conferences focused on sustainability.
Other Networking Resources: Presidio business cards are provided for all incoming students to help them present themselves as a member of the Presidio network as they build their professional relationships.
