Bio

Dr. Donna Montgomery is a consultant with more than 25 years experience serving business leaders to achieve personal and corporate transformation. She specializes in working with key executives and their teams to accelerate and magnify leadership and organizational performance. Her proven track record of successful partnering with executives crosses many different industries in various stages of growth.

Donna quickly establishes credibility and trust with corporate leaders who benefit from the breadth of her experience in leadership development and the corollary organizational issues that must be addressed to achieve positive and sustainable results. She deeply understands the nature of personal, team and large-scale change, and clients benefit from her focus on becoming a trusted advisor in support of their vision.

Prior to her consultant role, Donna was in a variety of organization development and culture change roles for companies such as Ernst & Young, Kaiser Permanente, Charles Schwab and Pacific Gas & Electric Company. She has designed and implemented results-driven leadership development and coaching programs that include 360 assessment, succession planning and both formal and informal mentoring programs.

In addition to program design and implementation, she has worked closely with executives and their teams in the areas of organization communication, culture change, selection and executive development. She worked as an external consultant for both Kaiser Permanente and Pacific Gas & Electric, and has worked in a variety of other industries such as high technology (AMD, Spansion), pharmaceutical (Genentech, Hoechst-Celanese), heavy construction (Granite Construction), manufacturing (John Deere), financial services (PIMCO) and the US Government (FBI).

Donna holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology. In addition to consulting work, Donna is faculty with the Presidio Graduate School's MBA & MPA Programs in Sustainable Management and teaches topics related to organization culture and change. She has a prior career in social work and utilizes her long-term familiarity with systems thinking in all of her engagements.
