Janelle Doi, Communications Manager

As the Communications Manager, Janelle Doi brings a fresh perspective and innovative ideas about how to drive the conversation around sustainability forward through social media and communication verticals. Originally from upstate New York, Janelle came to California to study at UCLA where she received her degree in Environmental Science and minored in Atmospheric and Oceanic Science.

Balancing big-picture goals with strategic action items, Janelle is a strong addition to the Presidio staff. She has always had a passion for sustainability and throughout college developed an interest in both business and environmental policy. In her own words, “I believe that the world is undergoing a major paradigm shift right now and I want to be part of the growing effort to incorporate social and environmental consciousness with business and public administration practices. I actually stumbled upon Presidio while searching for MBA programs, but shortly thereafter realized that additional work experience would strengthen my ability to be impactful. Presidio was a perfect match!”

When she is not in the office, you will probably find Janelle doing just about anything outdoorsy: kayaking, skiing, hiking, biking, running and snorkeling. She is a self-proclaimed foodie with an additional appetite for reading.
