At the end of each semester, Presidio Graduate School students enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration Capstone Policy Innovation and Masters of Business Administration Capstone Entrepreneurship courses refine and polish their capstone public policy innovations and social venture company ideas at the Presidio Capstone Showcase. As a part of the integrated and entrepreneurship-focused MPA and MBA Capstone Program, our students design and launch new social ventures, conceive and propose transformative public administration and public policy innovations, and collaborate on product design prototypes. These product and service prototypes, new social ventures, and breakthrough public policies are presented during the Sustainable Products and Services Design Fair and Capstone Showcase.

Our MBA and MPA Capstone teams often compete deep into major global business plan competitions; the Spring 2012 InFoods team won the top prize in the prestigious Madrona League Business Plan Competition, and members of that team have launched the venture as a going concern after their graduation.

Our Capstone Showcase is being sponsored by Allen Matkins Leck Gambie Mallory & Natsis LLP, a premier firm that focuses on real estate, litigation, labor, tax and business law, as well as the well-known real estate firm Jones Lang LaSalle. Our MPA and MBA Capstone students will have the chance to meet with potential investors, public policy leaders, and other key collaborators at a special reception at Allen Matkins’ downtown San Francisco offices as a part of this new sponsorship.
