The Presidio admissions philosophy
To get the most from your experience at Presidio Graduate School and achieve the greatest success, you’ll need to bring your complete self. This means that while verifiable data such as your GRE/GMAT score and your quantitative skills are important in assessing your candidacy for admission to our MBA, MPA or Dual Degree programs, they aren’t your complete story. That’s why our admissions process takes a more “whole-person” approach – one that allows us to get to know you at a deeper level – and vice-versa.
Here’s how we do it:
- We review your entire application, looking at you in a more complete sense. Each component of your application is as important to us as any other. For instance, we review GMAT or GRE scores as well as the quantitative skills used in your professional life to determine if you are prepared for the program. We weigh these with more qualitative elements such as teamwork skills. In keeping with our academic philosophy, we take a “total systems” approach.
- Our admissions process is high-touch. Because we think getting to know you over several conversations and in a number of different settings is the best way to get a true picture of whether Presidio and you are a great match.
- We offer genuine engagement. We provide opportunities for you to make class visits, join webinars, take part in community events, and have one-on-one conversations. We’ve found that giving candidates a chance to get a taste of the Presidio experience is both helpful and enlightening for all involved.
The Admissions section of the Presidio website has a wealth of information about application requirements and components, tuition, financial aid and more. We invite you to explore and contact us to get the process started.
